Saint Fraimbault is a pretty village of around 600 inhabitants with the Church and Mairie at it's centre.
The village is a "Floral" village boasting four flowers. This "flower" award has been held for many years and the inhabitants take great pride in the flower displays in their gardens and the public areas.
The 15th of August every year sees the "Flories d'Antan" which is an opportunity for the village to celebrate Assumption Day with displays of village life from a time gone by. This is an extremely popular event with people travelling many miles to enjoy the bustle of the day, demonstrations of bygone crafts and taking the opportunity to wander by the variety of stalls.
There are two children's play areas, one in a woodland setting with a picnic area and crazy golf for all the family.
The village lake lies within a wooded and flower filled area, with walks around about. A small snack bar is open during the summer months and you are able to enjoy a light snack, ice cream or drink while sitting by the lake. The pedalos are always a popular way to while away some time and soak up the sun.
