Louise and Tony provide a warm welcome and a lovely place to stay. The house is beautiful with many original features - the work they have put in on it is staggering!
Saint Fraimbault is a pretty village and the lake is well worth a leisurely stroll (or a decent run if that's your thing).
We fed chickens and ducks, collected eggs, and helped bring in the potato harvest when we stayed. Unfortunately the weather meant we missed the sheaving up the hay.
A beautiful, relaxing place run by a wonderful couple - we're looking forward to returning again soon.

En aangename stopplaats op onze meerdaagse fietstocht door de streek.
Vriendelijke en persoonlijke ontvangst, uitstekend ontbijt en uitgebreid avondeten. Mooi gelegen op een zeer rustige en landelijke plek
A pleasant stop on our multi-day bike ride through the region.
Friendly and personal welcome, excellent breakfast and extensive dinner. Beautifully situated in a very quiet and rural location.

Spent 2 nights here... clean, comfortable place not far from the village. Very relaxed, with a lovely view over the fields. Tony and Louise were very welcoming, and I particularly enjoyed a little hands on with the animals. The sheep tried nibbling my trousers, but that’s an optional extra! We had dinner one night, and it was excellent.

Mine hosts, Louise and Tony, not forgetting the dogs, cat, sheep, and chickens (!) are so welcoming it's a real home from home for people. They've worked really hard to make La Fosse such a special place and can't do enough to ensure your stay, no matter how short or long, is truly comfortable. The accommodation is superb, actually everything is. If you would like an evening meal, that's on offer too. They are both so knowledgable about the area and to be honest, if you hadn't intended going to this part of Normandy, you are missing a trick, so make a wee 'deviation' in order to stay for a while. Tony took us for a walk around the village and pointed out, with much pride, all that The Commune do for it's inhabitants and visitors. Be warned La Fosse, we will return and thank you again for making our stay so lovely.
