Nous parlons Francais

WE NOW ARE TAKING BOOKINGS FOR MARCH 2018 ONWARDS

We are Tony and Louise and we have lived in this lovely part of Normandy since we took early retirement moving from England to France to set up our Bed and Breakfast on a 7 acres smallholding.

We have a small flock of sheep which are kept for breeding and meat production. We have ducks and chickens raised for both their fabulous fresh eggs as well as their meat. We also pride ourselves in our abundance of fruit trees, in the autumn we make apple and pear juice from the trees. Of course, during the summer period there is always enjoying and preserving the produce from the vegetable patch.

We have two very friendly dogs and a very independant cat.

We are located in a quiet part of Normandy within a friendly rural community. The nearest town for major shopping is around 12 kilometres away.

We are 5 minutes walk from our village where there is a bar, a restaurant, a small supermarket, a hairdresser and charging points for electric cars. There is also a welcoming Catholic Church.

At one of the next villages (5 k) there are a range of small shops including a popular Pizza restaurant, a bank, a chemist, a bakers, a small supermarket and a butcher. At another nearby village (5 k) you can find an "English" bar open in the evenings.

Our village is know for its floral displays and on the 15th August each year there is a wonderful fete with people coming from all over France.

A few minutes walk away there is a lovely lake with a circular walk around it. During the summer months there is a small cafe/bar to enjoy a drink or a bite to eat at the lakeside and also there are pedalos to while away the hours. (See the "Saint Fraimbault" page for more information)

There are a number of "Voies Vertes" in the area for pleasant walks or cycle rides - even going as far as Le Mont Saint-Michel. Saint Fraimbault is on the route of the Vélo Francette cycle route which runs from Ouistreham to La Rochelle.

Sadly we cannot accept dogs to stay due to the livestock and poultry

For everyone's comfort our house is non-smoking
